Yeah, so today's my birthday.
A pretty "normal" yet memorable day. Spent it all with Ting haha.
Went to watch Initial D at PS in the morning. She keeps insisting that Jay Chou is damn shuai while I think that Yu Wen Le is more shuai. Not bad lah the show, gives me adrenaline rush. But the plot's damn dumb, so many extras. Even my Yu Wen Le is an extra. And the japanese girl. So duh.
After that we walked around and went to eat at the food court at PS.
Ting gave me a watch! Fossil one. I like :)
She also made me a very nice card; damn cool, very special one.
Then we went to tour all the ulu ulu museums, like the Civil Dfence exhibitions, stamp museums, etc. Feels like cultured man haha. Walk until my leg wanna break.
I feel more familiar with the routes in town area today. Learnt how Clarke Quay and PS and Funan and everything is linked. At the expense of my legs haha.
Went for dinner at Kuali at Suntec. Were deciding between Kuali and the steamboat buffet, but ended up deciding on Kuali cos no need to cook ourselves haha.
Lasagne's damn power. The potatoes also. And the pasta, duck, chicken. I also admitted to fate that I really cannot eat shell stuff. I tried eating a mussel with alot alot of lemon juice. Cos I see Mr Bean and so many people eat like so yummy.
And I literally VOMITTED it out. So disgusting. Cannot stand lah. I still remember Ting's look of disgust.
Then went to walk walk in Fort Canning. So dark, nothing to see. Should go in the afternoon, can see brides and bridegrooms taking pictures.
Went to Alif after that to meet Ting's sister and had supper together. We didn't eat much lah, cos we were still full from the buffet. Ting's sister was involved in NDP so poor thing, then guess what, their food is from SFI oh my god no wonder she skipped dinner. I fully understand.
Then I came home and our family blew the cake for me, my sister and my brother. Efficient right, all at once. Save money, save time, haha. Guess this is what we're like.
Cos actually when you seriously think about it, 21st birthday also not that much of a big deal. The world goes on. And it's not like a big celebration will bring me alot of joy. Haha I guess I'm just not that type of person. I just like to be with a few good friends at a time and enjoy their presence. (Note: "presence", not "presents"!)
I think having Ting with me today was good enough~ Haha, maybe cos my horoscope is cancer. I hate it when so many people stand around me with the cake in front of me and singing me a birthday song. Haha.
Last but not least,I have not forgotten that 21 years ago, this lady now known as my mother was suffering like hell in hospital. Now so big liao, so scary.
So kudos to everyone who has brought me joy and laughter, cares for me, important to me.
Lastly, I hope that the wishes I made before I blew out the candle come true!

Rachel gave me a treat at Swensen's~ Birthday treat ba I suppose. Had black pepper pasta and fried mushrooms and apple crumble and coit tower. So nice. Okay, who's Rachel? My financial advisor a.k.a insurance agent haha. Her birthday is like one day before mine so maybe she treats me nicer.

Then came along a bunch of hooligirls who wanted to played with us. Reggie Miller took them on with two kids, and lost terribly, much to our horror.
The hooligirls damn fierce man.
After they lost, came the team of Reggie Miller, Mr CHOP! and Robert Horry(me). We raped them. Okay not 'rape' as in 'rape', but 'rape' as in 'trashed.' Seven to one muahaha.
ALL-STAR TEAM.
Tomorrow is the last game of NBA Finals. Tim Duncan and maybe Rhasta is coming to my place to watch. Hope Spurs win man. (I got bet)
If Tim Duncan plays well and Big Shot Bobbie steps up to the occasion, should be no problem.

Just had a look at my New Year Resolutions. Thought of reviewing what I've done for the past half a year.
1) Yep, I've passed my driving test.
2) With regards to the mini-van, decided to drop the idea. I'm just gonna save up and buy a good ole normal car. And I'm definitely gonna own a car by the time I'm 30. Hopefully by 27 though.
3) Uni hasn't started yet, so I can't say much. But since I've become such a nerd (I love reading now) since I don't rememebr when, I believe studying won't be such a chore!?
4) BBall for hall! Had a reality check today. I'm getting really rusty and slow and I CAN'T RUN ANYMORE! Goodness. Aiyah, but I don't think people playing for hall are THAT good anyway, so I guess I could still make it.
5) $5000 by the end of this year!? Feels impossible. Especially because of a mistake I made that costed me a thousand plus bucks. But still, as Adidas says, "Impossible is Nothing".
And I like Adidas.
6) Be a better person. I'm still grouchy. Much space for improvement there. I'm too critical when looking at other people. My tolerance level is horrible. I don't know when I became like this though; I used to be a much more accomodating person ; /

Okay, maybe serving NS is not such a tough thing after all, but then again, it always feels great when you complete something I guess. Especially a service that takes 2 plus years.
Unfortunately, on this supposedly happy occasion, I kena-ed a summon when I went out for supper with my papa just now. So unlucky, the traffic police person was just issuing out the summon only.
Which means, if we returned 5 minutes earlier, or chose another place to eat, or ran into one less traffic light, or 1000 other possibilities, we could have escaped.
Ah well, life's like that I guess. Who knows, maybe just because we kena-ed that summon, I avoided myself an accident which COULD have happened if we weren't held up by the traffic police.
So moral of the story is, as the cheena saying goes,"Even if you lost your horse, you can't be sure it's not such a bad thing afterall". Okay the translation sucks but I guess I got my meaning across.
