legend has it that once you stop the momentum in writing, it's kinda hard to get it back.
so true.
however, seems like folks still visit this humble little house of thoughts every once in awhile, (evident from the occasional war cries of "wtf why your blog always not updated one?!") so i guess it's good to come up here to say alot of things before i bid farewell and leave for america come tomorrow.
5 hours later, to be precise.
it's my first time on an aeroplane, and as mother says, "first time sit aeroplane sit all the way to america?!"
anyway ya, being away for extended periods of time has unexpected perks too.
going away for a long time makes you emo; it makes you say goodbye to alot of things you never ever get a chance to say goodbye to, and makes you see them for what they are.
things like, your 2 folks. your rowdy siblings.
your messy-like-a-pig-sty but ever-lovable disaster of a room.
your bed.
and for me, i have this place i affectionately call "plaza", where i go to slack when i have nothing better to do. i went again today.
of course, cblc.
sometimes, you just grow so natural and in-one with the place and faces in it that sometimes you don't even bother to say "hi" when you see folks inside; you just like, nod.
and then you get mortified when you realize that suddenly you're saying goodbye to each other probably forever. kk this is not because i'm leaving for the states, but because they're graduating, but the sentiments are the same.
and sure, there will be gatherings once in awhile definitely, but things won't feel the same anymore.

pragmatic folks like me join cblc for pragmatic reasons, but end up realizing that knowing the amazing cblc folks here is probably one of the, if not the most beneficial thing i've got from nus.
okay this post was started last night and i was planning to write one hell of a long grandfather's story, but i was still packing and doing last minute stuff and it's now 10 a.m. in the morning meaning i'll be leaving home in 1 hour, so i better say my farewell here.
before leaving, i have..
1) met up with the engineers in the semesterly-bbq.
2) met up with the cblc folks at the agm dinner.
3) failed to meet up with the world's saddest team for the last bball session in a long time.
4) gone to plaza to slack around.
5) gone to borders.
6) had my last teh peng in a long time.
6) had my last chicken rice in a long time.
7) my last kfc in a long time.
i guess that's about it.
time to check out what last minute stuff i have failed to do before i screw up.
goodbye folks.
i'll miss y'all.
and i'll (try to) post alot. and i realized i'll probably reach 500 posts in lorlilorsor there.
