why does every post of recent times seem to reek of this "i'm back!!!" theme?
i'm getting really lazy with posting these days; probably got used to not posting last sem.
last sem was killer.
aww my dear lorlilorsor...
do you know your master kang kang nearly died last sem?!
7 bloody modules, almost all of which i hate.. 6 core bloody engin modules!!
all because of that shit-ass dapao-ded fluid mechanics.
and i even had to go and see my mentor to appeal to take 7 modules.
"yeah well, i'd approve your application.. never really done this before though. so do come back to me after the semester and let me know how you do alright?"
yeah well, this pathetic guinea pig conveniently forgot to report back to his mentor.
in stark contrast..
i am very happy to announce that..
this sem...
limpeh has a freeeeee day!!!! friday!!!!!!!
guard until flower open, see the moon bright bright....
*kang kang falls onto the ground and weeps at the kindness of the heavens*
according to our common engin code of definitions, i actually had an additional module last sem, commonly known as gf1101.
fortunately, i kena-ed a super easy to appease "tutor" for this "module", who just has this unwanted side-effect of making me fat and lazy and waste time slacking around with her whole day long doing nothing in particular.
incidentally, both of us had our best sems ever.
i was telling her the results i got for the "best sem" ever could potentially drive a normal nus undergraduate to immediately commit suicide, which she strongly agreed to.
it was very amusing to have her beside me when i was checking my results.
imagine how she would have reacted when she saw my results the previous previous sem.. got one "a-" and one "frickin' f". (hey! now i know why the "f" word starts with "f")
she was so amazed at the diverse range of results that can possibly be generated that it wasn't funny at all.
my kind folks suggested that i stay on in nus longer if need to, to my utter vehement rejection, because while i like nus, i absolutely detest taking engineering modules!!!!
and so yes, i will take my leave from the wretched place as soon as possible, thank you very much my kind folks.
speaking of disgraceful grades, it sometimes appals me how people judge others based on results alone..
sometimes it's quite saddening to feel that in projects, my opinions are not taken as highly simply because i have lousy cap.
understandable for sure, but does having lousy cap equate to being stupid?
i'm definitely no uber smart aleck, but i also am pretty damn sure that my cap isn't an accurate reflection of my actual intellectual capacity.
ah well, the workings of the world.
lan lan suck thumb.
anyway, in addition to the academic motherlode of disaster, i was also arrow-ed to be project director of cyberia camp, which i believe warrants another post of its own.
actually, the sole objective of this post is to awaken me from my slumber so i will post again.
blogging is healthy!
it leaves a tangible piece of your life on the web to look back on whenever you'd like to.
limpeh was blogging even before the word "blogging" was coined!
last time limpeh blogged on this thing called "opendiary".
last time damn stupid, whole day want to be anonymous, don't let real life people visit.. once real life people know le, then will delete the blog, say goodbye to each of your newfound od friends, like very sad like that.
nowadays, you can't even stop people from coming even if you wanted to. the world is simply too connected, man.
oh yes, cyberia.
preparation was an uber time-sucker; i'm just glad the thing went well, except for some unhappiness on the first night.
amitabha.
anyways, yes, last sem was quite horrible, and on one fine day nearing exams, i even had to see the doctor and was told that i kena "fatigue".
amitabha...
on a slightly melancholy note, last sem was hugely different.. hung out with new people, and have been seeing much much less of people whom i've seen alot previously.
the attitude towards each other has changed 180 degree too, and i don't even know why.
is it me, is it the other party, or is it just the circumstances?
it's kinda sad to have a relationship sour to this state, but i really have no idea what in the world is wrong, so again, amitabha.......................................
okay!
now that i've gotten this off my chest, i shall probably never mention it ever again!
everybody happy jiu hao ba!
amitabha!
a belated happy new year to all the cool folks seeing this!
